these are recordings of ideas and rough cuts of songs I've been working on from as far back as 2013. it was about this time I really starting writing anything. I'd come up with a phrasing on guitar and make up lyrics as I played. some of my favorite songs were recorded this way - laying down a drum track, some guitar or bass (which was actually a guitar with an octave effect since I couldn't afford one), and recording lyrics on the mic until I liked the sounds.
